Firefighters Douse Flames in Second Story Unit of Valley Glen Apartment Building

VALLEY GLEN, LOS ANGELES, Oct. 4 (KNN) — Firefighters battled flames within a two-story building shortly after 3:30 a.m. Wednesday morning.

The Los Angeles City Fire Department crews were dispatched to the 6700 block of Coldwater Canyon Avenue in Valley Glen where flames were consuming a unit on the second floor of an apartment building,

According to the LAFD, 40 firefighters engaged in offensive operations knocked down the flames in 21 minutes.

No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
