Firefighters Quickly Contain Chatsworth Brush Fire

Chatsworth, Los Angeles, CA: Approximately one to two-acres of brush burned Sunday, Sept. 4, on the 24400 block of West Woolsey Canyon Road in the Chatsworth neighborhood of Los Angeles within the San Fernando Valley.

Los Angeles County Fire, Ventura County Fire, and Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the reported 2:29 a.m. fire, along with their air resources.

Helicopters were able to achieve knock down on the majority of the fire with three water drops.

Hand crews were still at scene working to achieve a final knock down of the fire area.
