Firefighters Quickly Douse Flames in Burning Apartment, Residents Safe

East Hollywood, Los Angeles, CA: The Los Angeles Fire Department achieved a quick knockdown on an apartment fire Tuesday morning in the East Hollywood neighborhood of Los Angeles.

The fire, reported just after 3:00 a.m., Jan. 24, involved a single unit on the first floor of a two story apartment building on the 5300 block of West Romaine Street.

All residents were able to escape the blaze and no injuries were reported at the time of this report.

LAFD achieved knockdown in approximately 15 minutes.
