Firefighters Work to Contain Palmdale Vegetation Fire

PALMDALE, Calif., June 22 (KNN) — The Los Angeles County Fire Department is at the scene of a vegetation fire, working to contain the flames.

Los Angeles County firefighters from multiple stations responded to the area of 47th Street East and Palmdale Boulevard in East Palmdale for a report of a large fire around 5:40 p.m. Saturday.

Upon arrival, fire personnel located a sizable fire in progress that was moving northbound at the intersection of 47th Street East and Palmdale Boulevard.

Fire crews were still working to extinguish the flames and no further information was available at the time of this report.
