Diamond Bar, Los Angeles County, CA: Firefighters battled a blaze that engulfed a home in Diamond Bar Wednesday night.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department was near a Diamond Bar hillside when they noticed black smoke in the area just before 10:00 p.m.
Once firefighters moved closer to the smoke, they located a house fully involved in flames on the 2000 block of South Chestnut Creek Road. Firefighters immediately checked to see if the residence was occupied.
It is currently unknown if the home was occupied at the time of the fire and if anyone was evacuated from the burning house.
Firefighters knocked down the flames within 30 to 45 minutes. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
