Flood Waters Submerge Brentwood Sidewalks; Vehicles Disabled During Relentless Rainstorm

BRENTWOOD, LOS ANGELES, Feb. 5 (KNN) — A pounding, relentless SoCal rainstorm overwhelmed the 11900 block of West San Vicente Boulevard in Brentwood Sunday evening with flooded sidewalks and street.

Water was captured on Key News Network video at the location, rushing over sidewalks and flooding the street creating a travel hazard as passing vehicles negotiated their way through the standing water with a few becoming disabled.

Tow trucks responded to the location to clear vehicles stuck in the flooded street.

Some vehicles were observed driving over the grass median to avoid the flooded roadway. Rain is predicted to continue throughout the rest of the day and into Tuesday.
