Fontana Police Pursuit Spans Multiple Freeways, Suspect in Custody in Los Angeles

WINDSOR SQUARE, LOS ANGELES, July 1 (KNN) — Fontana Police Department units were in pursuit of a vehicle around 10:30 p.m. Saturday that spanned multiple freeways.

The chase began in the city of Fontana in San Bernardino County and traveled throughout different areas and agencies before ending in the Windsor Square neighborhood of Los Angeles on 4th Street and Van Ness Avenue.

Police used the PIT maneuver on the vehicle, and then the suspect crashed into a parked car.

Officers placed the suspect into custody and subsequently, the Los Angeles Fire Department was dispatched to the scene to transport the suspect to a nearby hospital in unknown condition.

The reason for the pursuit is not clear at this time.
