Fourth Lancaster Shooting Leaves 2 Dead

LANCASTER, Calif., June 27 (KNN) — Another shooting occurred in Lancaster Wednesday evening shortly before 6 p.m. leaving two people dead following three previous shootings the night before that also included fatalities.

Deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Lancaster Station and the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to the 800 block of East Avenue J-12 and Challenger Way for a report of at least one person down from a gunshot wound.

Upon arrival, deputies started lifesaving techniques on a victim and when Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics arrived, they took over and quickly transported the victim to a local area hospital in critical condition.

The LASD reported a total of two male adults were fatally shot at the location, and both were pronounced deceased at the hospital.

There has been no further update regarding this incident or the other previous Lancaster shootings from the LASD as of late Wednesday night. The investigation is ongoing.
