Chinatown, Los Angeles, CA: Gas prices have surged to $6.95 for a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in some areas of Los Angeles on Sunday, Mar. 6, with an average price of $5.00 per gallon.

Key News Network captured motorists pumping gas at a Chevron station on the 900 block of North Alameda Street in Chinatown for $6.95 per gallon of regular gasoline. Nearby gas stations ranged from $5.39 to $6.64 per gallon.
