Hawthorne Shooting Leaves Man Fatally Wounded in Fast Food Restaurant Parking Lot

HAWTHORNE, Calif., Jan. 17 (KNN) — A man was found fatally shot in the parking lot of Fabulous Charbroiled Burgers in the city of Hawthorne overnight.

Hawthorne Police Department officers responded to reports of a shooting victim shortly after 2 a.m. in the parking lot of Fabulous Charbroiled Burgers in the 3300 block of Rosecrans Avenue.

When officers arrived on scene, they located a male approximately 45 years of age down in the parking lot suffering from gunshot wounds.

The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

Witnesses at the scene stated the shooting stemmed from an altercation between the victim and a suspect who fled in a vehicle.
