Buena Park, Orange County, CA: Two females in a white Escalade are in custody after leading Placentia Police Department and California Highway Patrol officers on a high-speed pursuit across Orange and Los Angeles Counties early Monday morning, Mar. 13, around 1:00 a.m.
The pursuit originated near State College Boulevard and Chapman Avenue in Fullerton, where Placentia PD attempted to stop the vehicle for traffic related violations.
The suspects took off, heading west on the CA-91. The suspects exited Artesia at one point and Placentia PD officers cancelled the pursuit.
After five minutes, observant CHP Santa Fe Springs officers relocated the vehicle traveling north on the 605 from Firestone Boulevard. They attempted to stop the vehicle, however, it fled once again, going into Rowland Heights before making a giant square from the 60 Freeway, to the 57, to the 5, up to Los Angeles and back down.
Officers successfully spiked the vehicle at Carmenita Road and the suspects eventually exited at Beach Boulevard in Buena Park, heading south before crashing into a low retaining wall by a sidewalk.
At least two occupants were taken into custody.
No injuries were reported.
