Homeowner Calls Police, Hides in Closet After Suspect Breaks Into Tarzana Home

TARZANA, LOS ANGELES, Dec. 7 (KNN) – Police responded to a reported home invasion in the 5700 block of Shirley Avenue in Los Angeles around 11:40 p.m. Thursday.

The victim called 911 and reported seeing a suspect break into her home and enter the living room. She hid in an upstairs master bedroom closet until officers arrived.

The suspect fled before police reached the scene and remains at large. The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating the incident.
