LYNWOOD, Calif., Apr. 24 (KNN) — The Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department’s Homicide investigators responded to a location where of a female was found dead in the city of Lynwood late Tuesday night.
The incident was reported at approximately 10:41 p.m. in the 3600 block of Martin Luther King Boulevard, according to the LASD.
An adult female was pronounced deceased at the scene. The manner of death is unclear, with little information released by the sheriff’s department. The LASD did add, however, that the suspect is an adult female. No description was released. It is unknown at this time if the victim and suspect knew each other.
Key News Network video from the scene where homicide investigators gathered for the death investigation, shows a parking lot defined by crime scene tape near a Pizza Hut restaurant. A few vehicles among the sheriff’s patrol units appear to be possibly linked to the incident, but that observation is not confirmed at this time.
