ROWLAND HEIGHTS, Calif., May 22 (KNN) — Authorities are investigating a shooting that left one person dead at a residence in Rowland Heights Tuesday night.
Deputies with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel responded to a gunshot victim at a residence in the 2500 block of Doubletree Lane and Aguiro Street.
Firefighters and paramedics attempted lifesaving measures, but ultimately pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.
The suspect – reported to be wearing all black clothing – left the location in an unknown direction with a black handgun.
Homicide detectives with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department responded to the scene for the investigation.
There are no further details at this time.
