Homicide Investigation Underway Into Shooting Death of Man in Compton

COMPTON, Calif., July 8 (KNN) — A man was found fatally shot in the city of Compton late Sunday night prompting a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide investigation.

According to the LASD, the shooting occurred just before midnight at the intersection of South Acacia and West Tichenor streets.

The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The crime scene was cordoned off as homicide detectives conducted their investigation. The suspect(s) is unknown at this time.
