Homicide Investigation Underway Into Shooting Death of Woman in Compton

COMPTON, Calif., May 28 (KNN) — Homicide investigators with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department are investigating the shooting death of an adult female in the city of Compton.

The shooting was reported at approximately 10:57 p.m. Monday, May 27, in the 700 block of South Holly Avenue, according to the LASD.

The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. There is no information regarding the suspect at this time.
