Hotel Security Guard Struck by Vehicle Involved in Crash

DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES, July 10 (KNN) — A security guard for The L.A. Grand Hotel Downtown was struck by a vehicle involved in a two-vehicle collision in front of the hotel on the 300 block of South Figueroa Street in Downtown Los Angeles.

A white sedan was pushed into the driveway of the hotel and through a fence after colliding with an SUV at approximately 1:44 a.m. Monday. The security guard was struck in the process.

The guard was transported to a nearby hospital in unknown condition.

There are no further details regarding this incident at this time.
