I-5 Traffic Collision in Sylmar Involves Multiple Vehicles, Injuries

SYLMAR, LOS ANGELES, Jan. 20 (KNN) — A multi-vehicle injury traffic collision occurred on the I-5 Freeway just before midnight Saturday.

The California Highway Patrol and the Los Angeles Fire Department were dispatched to a traffic collision involving at least four vehicles on southbound I-5 just before the Roxford Street off-ramp in Sylmar.

One vehicle was struck while on the right shoulder, per the CHP. Three of the vehicles involved had major damage.

At the time of this report, the number of victims transported by ambulance is unknown.

KNN has contacted the CHP. There is no information at this time regarding injured parties.
