Investigation Underway Into Shooting Death of Man in Pico Rivera

PICO RIVERA, CA, June 27 (KNN) — A man was shot and killed in Pico Rivera prompting a homicide investigation with multiple people of interest already detained.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department officials received multiple calls regarding shots fired in the area of Church Street and Underwood Avenue shortly before 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Arriving units located one male victim down on the sidewalk, unresponsive. Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics responded and attempted life-saving measures on the victim who was ultimately pronounced dead at the scene.

Multiple males matching the description of the shooter were detained nearby.

It is unclear if they are the shooters, as the scene was still under active investigation at the time of this report.
