Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, CA: The Los Angeles Police Department Valley Traffic Division (VTD), in collaboration with the Valley Traffic Advisory Council (VTAC), hosted the 19th Annual ‘Still Saving Lives’ Car Show and Safety Fair at Warner Center Park on the 5800 block of Topanga Canyon Boulevard in the Woodland Hills neighborhood of the San Fernando Valley. The Saturday, June 4, event began at 9:00 a.m. and ended around 3:00 p.m.
The event raises awareness and funds to support VTAC and VTD in a friendly environment, with plenty of custom, vintage and hot rod vehicles, as well as opportunity drawings, awards and special guests and activities throughout the day, according to the LAPD news release of the event. There were food trucks for lunch and desserts.
Kids and adults spent the day interacting with LAPD officers and asking questions about the air support division and K-9 unit in particular. There was also a live auction at the event.
