STUDIO CITY, LOS ANGELES, June 20 (KNN) — A hiker unable to climb back up onto Mulholland Drive from a canyon hillside, was rescued by crews from the Los Angeles Fire Department late Wednesday evening.
The LAFD responded to the 8500 block of Mulholland Drive near Skyline Drive in Studio City shortly before 9 p.m. for a lost hiker who was unable to get back onto the roadway.
Firefighters utilized a rope system to guide the hiker up the hillside onto Mulholland. A helicopter assisted with light to perform the rescue operation.
It was not immediately known if the hiker had suffered any injuries.
