Deputies Discover Deceased Female After Medical Emergency Call

Lancaster, Los Angeles County, CA: At approximately 12:16 p.m. Sunday, May 29, Lancaster deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department arrived on scene for a service call at the Windrose Apartments located on the 44700 block of Division Street in the city of Lancaster.

A backup request was made at 12:20 p.m. to clear the residence due to an open door. A female was reportedly found inside the residence unresponsive and bleeding from the face. Los Angeles County firefighters from Station 33 responded to the scene shortly after and declared the female deceased.

Lancaster deputies stayed on location to process the scene and secured the area with crime scene tape.

A Los Angeles County Sheriff’s detective has confirmed to Key News Network that it was a medical emergency and that the cause of death is not known at this time.
