Lancaster Shooting Leaves Man Wounded; Suspect Outstanding

LANCASTER, Calif., May 10 (KNN) — A suspect is at large after shooting a man in the city of Lancaster Thursday evening.

At approximately 8:41 p.m., Lancaster sheriff’s deputies responded to a shooting incident at the intersection of Kingtree Avenue and Avenue H-14.

Upon arrival, deputies located a gunshot victim who was subsequently transported to a local hospital in unknown condition.

According to initial reports, the victim sustained a single gunshot wound. The suspect, described as an adult Hispanic male, fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction.

Deputies promptly secured the area with crime scene tape and initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
