WESTLAKE, LOS ANGELES, Oct. 16 (KNN) — At least two Los Angeles Police Department officers were injured when they were involved in a crash during a pursuit in Westlake early Wednesday morning.
Initial information indicates LAPD Central units were engaged in a pursuit of a possible carjacking suspect armed with a rifle when one of the units crashed into a parked vehicle at the intersection of 7th Street and Union Avenue shortly before 3:30 a.m.
At least two officers were transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.
The suspect is still outstanding, and there are no further details at this time.
