VAN NUYS, LOS ANGELES, Feb. 6 (KNN) — As the worst part of the recent winter rainstorm slowly moves out of the area, potholes have been discovered in the aftermath throughout Los Angeles. One such pothole caused damage to vehicles at the intersection of La Maida Street and West Riverside Drive in Van Nuys Monday evening.
The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the intersection shortly before 7 p.m. for a report of multiple cars disabled after hitting a pothole in the middle of the street.
LAFD personnel arrived on scene and was providing traffic control. Multiple cars were seen disabled and being towed from the scene.
A flare and cones were placed in the street to mark the hazard.
