Large Tree Falls, Causes Damage to Home

Hollywood Hills West, Los Angeles, CA: The Los Angeles City Fire Department responded to a call just after 11:00 p.m., Dec. 18, for a tree that fell onto a house on the 2800 block of Nichols Canyon Place in the Hollywood Hills West neighborhood of Los Angeles.

When units arrived, they found a large tree that had fallen onto a two-story home causing damage.

LAFD called for the Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety to respond to the location and ordered the homeowner to stay out of the house.

LADBS is investigating the incident.
