Large Water Main Break Floods Street in Boyle Heights

BOYLE HEIGHTS, LOS ANGELES, Sept. 25 (KNN) — A street in Boyle Heights was flooded overnight when a large water main erupted prompting a response from the fire department.

The Los Angeles Fire Department was dispatched around 1:43 a.m. Monday for reported flooding in the 1800 block of east 4th Street.

Upon arrival, firefighters found water flowing east down 4th Street from a water main break.

The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power was notified by LAFD to respond to the incident.
