LASD Procession Escorts Santa Clarita Deputy to Coroner in Downtown Los Angeles

STEVENSON RANCH, LOS ANGELES COUNTY, June 11 (KNN) – A Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputy who was pronounced deceased at a Stevenson Ranch home Sunday afternoon was escorted to the county coroner’s office later in the evening.

Law enforcement from the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station including the SCV Search and Rescue team joined Los Angeles County Fire’s Battalion 6 Chief and Fire Station 124 to salute, honor and escort the deputy to Downtown Los Angeles.

The deputy’s cause of death will be determined by the coroner’s office.
