Los Angeles County Firefighter Injured in Lancaster House Fire Airlifted to Hospital in West Hills

WEST HILLS, LOS ANGLES, June 20 (KNN) — A Los Angeles County firefighter was injured while battling a house fire in the city of Lancaster overnight and ultimately transported to a hospital in West Hills.

LACoFD personnel responded to a structure fire around 12:43 a.m. in the 8600 block of West Avenue C-2 in Lancaster. One firefighter sustained unknown burn injuries during the battle. It is unclear at this time how the firefighter was injured.

An air ambulance transported the injured firefighter to the Grossman Burn Center at West Hills Hospital and Medical Center.
