Los Angeles Hit-and-Run, Multi-Vehicle Crash Leaves 1 Trapped in Wreckage

FLORENCE, LOS ANGELES, Aug. 27 (KNN) — A three-vehicle traffic collision prompted a physical rescue response from Los Angeles Fire Department personnel late Monday night.

The collision occurred around 11:38 p.m. at the intersection of South Main Street and East 59th Place in the Florence neighborhood of Los Angeles.

LAFD arrived and found that one victim was pinned inside a vehicle. They were able to remove the victim within five minutes.

A light pole was damaged in the collision, and crash debris was observed throughout the scene.

Two victims were transported to a local area hospital in unknown condition. The occupants of one or more of the three vehicles involved fled the location.
