Man Armed With Knife in Custody After Allegedly Stabbing Victim in Chinatown

CHINATOWN, LOS ANGELES, Jan. 9 (KNN) — A man armed with a knife was taken into custody after a victim was found stabbed overnight in Chinatown.

The Los Angeles Police Department’s Central Division patrol units requested backup around 12:25 a.m. for a man with a knife as well as a stabbing victim in the 1000 block of North Alhambra Avenue.

The suspect armed with the knife, was initially uncooperative but was eventually taken into custody without incident.

Responding Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics transported both the victim and suspect to a local hospital. Their conditions are unknown at this time.
