NORTH HOLLYWOOD, LOS ANGELES, Feb. 1 (KNN) — A man was robbed of his vehicle at gunpoint by three suspects Wednesday night on the 170 Freeway in North Hollywood, according initial information from authorities.
The man was traveling northbound on the 170 Freeway around 10:50 p.m. when an unknown vehicle intentionally collided with his sedan. The man pulled to the shoulder just south of Magnolia with the intent of exchanging information with the driver.
Three Black male suspects exited their vehicle, each of them pointing handguns at the man, and stole his car leaving him on the shoulder of the freeway.
Suspects took the victim’s Audi RS7 and continued northbound on the 170 and out of view.
The victim contacted the Los Angeles Police Department and California Highway Patrol, then walked off the freeway to the park just east of the 170 on Magnolia.
CHP responded along with LAPD’s North Hollywood Division patrol units and located the victim at a bus stop near the park. He was not injured.
The victim’s license plate was reported as 8UUF52, which is either a vanity plate or partial plate number.
CHP’s Valley Bureau will be handling the investigation. No further information is available at this time.
