ADAMS-NORMANDIE, LOS ANGELES, Mar. 2 (KNN) — Los Angeles police and fire department personnel responded to a reported shooting at 12:15 a.m. Saturday in the Adams-Normandie neighborhood.

Upon arrival at the scene on the 1800 block of West 25th Street, officers found a male victim who was not conscious and not breathing. Initial information from the scene indicated that the victim had sustained a gunshot wound to the head.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics transported the male to an area hospital.
Officer Chavez, a spokesperson for the LAPD, told Key News Network that the victim, a 25-year-old Black male, is in critical condition.
According to Chavez, the shooting occurred when the victim was walking toward the suspect.
There were no further details.
