Man Fatally Shot During Argument in Lancaster

LANCASTER, Calif., Sept. 29 (KNN) — A man was fatally shot during an apparent argument, according to initial information at the scene early Sunday morning in Lancaster.

Deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Lancaster Station responded to the Willow Creek Village Apartments on 15th Street West in Lancaster for reported shots fired and at least one person down on the ground around 12:20 a.m.

Upon arrival, deputies located a male Black victim who had suffered a gunshot wound. Deputies began CPR immediately. Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel arrived soon after and administered CPR, first aid and other lifesaving techniques. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene despite the efforts of first responders.

The only suspect information made available was that three adult males fled in an unknown direction.

This homicide is currently under investigation, and no further details were available at the time of this report.
