Man Fatally Shot on Sidewalk in Rosemead; Investigation Underway

ROSEMEAD, Calif., Nov. 30 (KNN) — Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide detectives are currently investigating the shooting death of a man found in Rosemead early Friday morning, reported the LASD.

LASD deputies from the Temple Station and Los Angeles County firefighters responded to a reported gunshot victim on the 7700 block of Garvey Avenue at Evelyn Avenue at approximately 2:48 a.m.

Firefighters and paramedics attempted lifesaving measures, but the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. It is unknown at this time if any suspect or suspects are still outstanding.

The LASD had both east and westbound lanes of Garvey Avenue closed as they investigated the fatal shooting.

According to the LASD, no additional information is currently available.
