SOUTH PARK, LOS ANGELES, Sept. 6 (KNN) — A gunshot victim was found in need of medical attention early Wednesday morning at a bus stop in the South Park neighborhood within South Los Angeles.
The Los Angeles Police Department’s Newton Division officers responded to a shooting call around 1:20 a.m. at the intersection of Main Street and Slauson Avenue.
Arriving officers located a man down at a bus stop at the southwest corner of the intersection with gunshot wounds to his lower extremities.
The victim was transported in unknown condition to a local hospital by the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Officers were observed canvassing the crime scene for evidence.
