Man Found Fatally Shot in Downtown Los Angeles

DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES, June 27 (KNN) — A male victim was reported shot in the downtown area of Los Angeles early Tuesday morning.

The Los Angeles Police Department’s Central units responded to a shooting victim around 1:30 a.m. at Cesar Chavez Avenue and Union Station Driveway.

When officers arrived on scene, they found a male down on the sidewalk not conscious or breathing, and began CPR.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics arrived on scene, tended to the victim and shortly after, transported the patient to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased, according to authorities.

There are no further details available at this time.
