Man Found Shot in Head in Lancaster

Lancaster, Los Angeles County, CA: At approximately 7:56 p.m. Friday, Mar. 3, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department responded to a shooting at the corner of Gadsden Avenue and Avenue K in the city of Lancaster.

Upon arrival, Lancaster deputies discovered a male with a gunshot wound to the head. Lancaster deputies treated the victim until paramedics arrived from Station 134.

The victim was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.

Deputies canvassed the area for evidence and reviewed store video for clues of a suspect still at large at the time of this report.

Currently, the circumstances surrounding the shooting are unknown.
