Man Found Shot in Sylmar; Suspect Outstanding

Sylmar, Los Angeles, CA: The Los Angeles Police Department responded to reports of shots fired around 9:45 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 7, in the area of Glenoaks and Hubbard in the Sylmar neighborhood of Los Angeles within the San Fernando Valley.

After canvassing the area, officers found a man suffering from a gunshot wound to the arm.

The gunshot victim fled the location of the shooting and entered The Bottle Shoppe for help, according to one of the owners who reached out to Key News Network.

The Los Angeles Fire Department responded and transported the patient in unknown condition to a local hospital.

The suspect is currently outstanding as of this report. An LAPD airship was observed searching the area.

No description of the suspect was immediately available.
