Man Found With Gunshot Wound Inside Home in South Los Angeles

SOUTH LOS ANGELES, Mar. 5 (KNN) — A man was found suffering from a gunshot wound inside a home late Monday night in the Vermont Square neighborhood within South Los Angeles.

A shooting victim was reported shortly after 11 p.m. in the 500 block of West 51st Street. Responding officers with the Los Angeles Police Department’s 77th Division, located a man inside a residence with a gunshot wound to the leg.

The wounded man was transported to a local hospital by Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics.

The circumstances regarding the shooting are unclear at this time.
