Man in Critical Condition After Allegedly Shot by Daughter in Lancaster

LANCASTER, Calif., Nov. 26 (KNN) — A father was allegedly shot by his daughter at a residence in Lancaster early Tuesday morning.

At 8:46 a.m., a 911 call reported a gunshot victim at a residence in the 500 block of West Avenue J-8 in Lancaster. Per initial information gathered at the scene from the sheriff’s department, the shooting involved a female suspect who shot her father.

Upon arrival, Lancaster deputies found a male victim with a gunshot wound in critical condition. The victim was rushed to the hospital while paramedics performed CPR.

The suspect, described as a female adult with short hair and a masculine appearance, fled the scene.
