Man Shot on Hollywood Walk of Fame

HOLLYWOOD, CA, Sept. 10 (KNN) — Police officers located a blood trail that led to the Walk of Fame after finding a man shot behind a building in Hollywood overnight.

The Los Angeles Police Department’s Hollywood Division officers responded to reports of a shooting around 3:23 a.m. Sunday on the 6300 block of Hollywood Boulevard.

When officers arrived on scene, they located a male down behind a medical building at the location reported.

Responding Los Angeles Fire Department fighter/paramedics transported the victim in unknown condition to a local hospital.

Officers spotted a blood trail leading away from where they found the victim and traced it to where it originated on the Walk of Fame where several bullet casings were seen.

The circumstances of the shooting are unknown at this time and under investigation by the LAPD.
