NORTH HOLLYWOD, LOS ANGELES, Sept. 24 (KNN) — A man accused of stealing a golf cart at knife point led police on a chase while holding onto a puppy.
The Los Angeles Police Department’s West Valley Division patrol units initiated a pursuit of a stolen golf cart around 9:30 p.m. Sunday in North Hollywood.
The driver of the stolen golf cart had a puppy in his lap during the entire pursuit. He also tried ramming the cart into police officers as they were attempting to spike strip the vehicle.
The pursuit lasted about 30 minutes traveling across the San Fernando Valley.
The LAPD took the suspect into custody. No injuries were reported.
