Man Wounded in Lincoln Park Shooting

Lincoln Heights, Los Angeles, CA: A man was wounded in a shooting early Monday morning in the Lincoln Park area within the Lincoln Heights neighborhood of Los Angeles.

The Los Angeles Police Department responded to the area of Valley Boulevard and San Pablo Street for a reported gunshot wound around 12:30 a.m., Apr. 3.

Upon arrival, LAPD officers had a difficult time locating the patient. Officers eventually found the wounded patient inside his RV.

It was not immediately clear if the victim was shot while inside the RV or outside.

The patient suffered a gunshot wound to the leg and was transported to a local hospital by Los Angeles Fire Department personnel.
