BAKERSFIELD, Calif., June 4 (KNN) — A massive blaze engulfed a building in the city of Bakersfield late Monday night.
The Bakersfield Fire Department was dispatched to a structure fire with visible flames showing from the rooftop around 11:39 p.m. in the 600 block of 19th Street.
Multiple firefighters were on the scene battling the 3-alarm blaze that was consuming an antique shop. Crews fought to contain the flames and prevent extension to nearby units.
The fire impacted power in the area prompting a response from the Bakersfield Police Department to assist with traffic control.
No injuries were reported.
