Mid-Wilshire Traffic Collision Involves LAPD Unit

Mid-Wilshire, Los Angeles, CA: Los Angeles Police Department officers were taken to a local area hospital early Thursday morning after a collision with a vehicle in the Mid-Wilshire neighborhood of Los Angeles.

The collision occurred at the intersection of Wilshire and Hauser boulevards at approximately 1:31 a.m., Dec. 15.

An LAPD Wilshire unit collided with a dark colored SUV. It is unknown if the officers were responding to a call at the time of the collision.

Officers immediately requested Los Angeles Fire Department resources to the location for injuries sustained by both parties in the collision.

The cause of the traffic collision is unknown at this time but an investigation is underway by LAPD West Traffic Division.
