Motorcyclist Fatally Injured in Van Nuys Traffic Collision

VAN NUYS, LOS ANGELES, Sept. 9 (KNN) — The Los Angeles Police Department is currently investigating a fatal collision involving a vehicle and a motorcycle in the 13900 block of Sherman Way that occurred shortly after 11 p.m. Sunday.

Officer Lee, a spokesperson for the LAPD, told KNN that a male motorcyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Los Angeles Fire Department. There were no other injuries reported.

The incident resulted in the closure of Sherman Way between Ranchito and Hazeltine avenues.

The impact damage to the motorcycle and vehicle was evident at the scene.
