Motorcyclist Hospitalized After Crashing on 99 Freeway Off-Ramp at Ming Avenue

Bakersfield, Kern County, CA: A motorcyclist was hospitalized after being ejected in a solo crash on a freeway off-ramp late Thursday night.

The California Highway Patrol received a report at approximately 11:30 p.m., May 18, for a motorcycle down on the off-ramp of the 99 Freeway at the Ming Avenue exit in the city of Bakersfield.

Firefighters and paramedics arrived at the scene and located an adult male that had been ejected over the wall suffering from major injuries.

The patient was transported to a local hospital.

CHP was on the scene handling the investigation.
