Motorcyclist Hospitalized After Traffic Collision Involving Pickup Truck in Bakersfield

BAKERSFIELD, Calif., Feb. 29 (KNN) — A pickup truck and motorcycle collided in the city of Bakersfield Wednesday night leaving the motorcyclist hospitalized.

The traffic collision occurred around 9 p.m. at Lymric Way and Ming Avenue. Responding officers with the Bakersfield Police Department located the injured motorcyclist down in the roadway. The responsive patient was treated at the scene by paramedics and transported to a local hospital in unknown condition.

The driver of the pickup truck involved in the collision stayed at the scene and cooperated with authorities.

Bakersfield PD was on scene handling the investigation into the crash.
