Motorcyclist Killed in Bakersfield Traffic Collision

Bakersfield, Kern County, CA: A motorcyclist was killed in a traffic collision with a vehicle around 1:20 a.m. Saturday, June 4, 2022. Kern County Fire Department, Hall Ambulance and California Highway Patrol responded to the scene on Taft Highway, SR-119 at Airport Road just outside the city of Taft.

The unidentified motorcyclist was declared deceased at the scene. It was not immediately known what caused the collision.

The investigation is ongoing.
